Alexander Paklons President of the Board, Country Manager of Fortis in Poland
Alexander Paklons is a law graduate of the University of Leuven and has followed various international banking trainings inter alia at the London School of Economics. Alexander Paklons has been working for Fortis Bank SA/NV (then Generale Bank) since 1980. He has been head of various credit, commercial and marketing departments in Belgium, Singapore and France. In 2005 he begun his cooperation with Fortis Bank Polska as Senior Vice-President and Country Manager of Fortis in Poland. He is Chairman of Fortis Foundation Polska and Chairman of the Management Board of Belgian Business Chamber. In 2007 he became a Chairman of Supervisory Board of Dominet Bank SA.
Jan BujakSenior Vice-President
A graduate of the Law Faculty at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków (1992). He continued legal education at the Postgraduate Studies for Judges (1995). In 1998, he completed an Executive MBA degree of Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées in Paris and University of Bristol. Since the beginning of his professional career in 1992, he has been working for Fortis Bank Polska SA (then the First Polish-American Bank). Inter alia he was the Clearing Department Director, the Deputy Financial Officer, Head of the Accounting Department and Head of the Finance and Control Department. 2000-2002 he was a member of the Management Board of Fortis Lease Polska. In January 2005 Jan Bujak became President of the Management Board of Fortis Bank Polska SA. He is also a Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Fortis Private Investments Polska SA.
Jean-Luc DeguelVice-President, Head of CB business line (Commercial Banking)
A graduate of Hautes Etudes Commerciales in Commercial Sciences in Belgium. Jean-Luc Deguel has been working for Generale Bank (now Fortis Bank) since 1984. In 1986 he was appointed the head of the corporate section in the Credit Department for the area of Liege (Belgium) and in 1989 he became a Senior Relationship Manager with the responsibility for managing the portfolio of corporate customers. During the period 1992-1995 he was a head of relationship managers team before being appointed member of the management committee for the area of Huy Waremme (Belgium). In connection with the acquisition of capital interest in PPABank by Generale Bank, in 1998 Jean-Luc Deguel became a Vice-President of PPABank, later Fortis Bank Polska and Director of the Commercial Banking business line.
Thierry Lechien Vice-President, Head of Credits
A graduate of the Business Engineer at Mons Universite de l’Etat in Belgium. Thierry Lechien has been working for Fortis since 1984 (Generale Bank) in Credit Department, Commercial Banking Department and as a Regional Branch Manager for Charleroi Area. Since 1999 he has been working for Fortis Bank, holding the following positions: Business Center manager in Charleroi (1999-2006) and since 2006 he has been a Head of Origination Brussels&Wallonia, CPB Credits. In 2007 Thierry Lechien was appointed a Vice-President of Fortis and Head of Credits.
Jaromir PelczarskiVice-President, Head of Operations and Support Services
A graduate of the Faculty of Electronics, Computer Science&Technology at the University of Mining and Metallurgy in Kraków (1992). In 1997, he completed post-graduate studies in banking at the Entrepreneurship&Management School at the University of Economics in Kraków. In 2000, he received an Executive MBA degree of Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées in Paris and University of Bristol. He started his professional career with FX Sp. z o.o. in 1992, a company specializing in computer systems design. He joined Fortis Bank Polska SA (then First Polish-American Bank) in 1994, first as an IT Specialist, promoted to the position of the IT Department Director in 1995. Since November 2001, as Head of the Information Systems and Support Services, he has supervised the units responsible for IT management, administration and facilities, security, investments and central procurement. In 2007 he became a Member of Supervisory Board of Dominet Bank SA.

Jos Clijsters Chairman of the Board
Graduate in Applied Economic Sciences (Marketing) at the Catholic University of Leuven (1973), completed the Post-University Program for Management Consultant SME in the Ministry of Economic Affairs and the General Management Course CEDEP in Fontainebleau. He started his professional career in 1974 at Unilever. From 1979 to 1981 he worked for the Cobepa group as the Head of international expansion. Since 1981 he has been working for Fortis Bank (former Generale Bank). First he was responsible for development of marketing in the regional head offices and of the central marketing department. From 1986 to 1989 he was Deputy Director of the Strategy Center and then Director of the "Markets, Products and Communication" Department. In the years 1990-1995 he held the position of General Manager of marketing in the business line IPS (individuals, professionals and small enterprises). Since 2002 he has held top executive positions in Fortis Bank - as the Chief Executive Officer responsible for Retail Banking in Belgium. Currently, since February 2005, is Chief Executive Officer of Retail Banking Fortis Worldwide, Member of the Executive Committee of Fortis and Member of the Management Committee of Fortis Bank.
Antoni Potocki Vice-Chairman of the Board
Mr. Potocki studied at the Agricultural Academy in Kraków in 1982 (with no MA degree). From 1979 through 1994 he was employed at several commercial, agricultural and manufacturing companies. Since 1990 he has been President of CBS consulting company, a company that is not competitive to Fortis Bank Polska SA.
Zbigniew Dresler Member of the Board
Mr. Dresler graduated from the Economics University in Kraków in 1967. As a Ph.D. in economics, he currently holds a full professorship at the Economics University in Kraków. In the years 1990 - 1996, he was Vice Chancellor of the University.
Chris Norris Member of the Board
aged 51, a graduate in English & Philosophy from the Australian National University. He also studied Real Estate and Marketing. From 1975 until 1984 he worked for A V Jennings, Australia’s largest residential developers. He has been working in the banking sector since 1985, when he joined Citibank. Between 1986 and 1993 he was the Head of Business Banking (SME) for Australia, Auto Finance Division for Australia and Consumer Banking for New Zealand, while from 1993 to 1996 he worked as the Head of Consumer Business Risk Review for Asia and Middle East. In 1996 he joined ABN AMRO as the Head of Consumer & Program Lending Risk Management. Since 2007 he has been with Fortis as the Chief Risk Officer of the Retail and SME banking.

he has been working in banking sector since 1982, when he started working for Fortis in internal communications and HR. Between 2001 and 2007 he was the CEO Country Manager of Fortis Bank France. Currently he is the Secretary General of Merchant & Private Banking at Fortis Bank Belgium.
